I would like to nominate NSR2 for his/her post (post number 48) in this thread:

In a few paragraphs he/she manages to explain really clearly about Bank of England interest rates and the whole borrowing procedure between the banks and how it in turn affects us. The whole credit crunch issue in the states and it's consequent effect on our economy is front page news at the minute and I, for one tend to get lost in all the jargon. NSR2 has really helped me to understand!0 -

Can I nominate Bommer for a whole thread, rather than just one post?
The following thread was started by Bommer and seems to have just "taken off"
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=540366
On a personal note, it has brought back many happy memories for me, made me laugh, made me cry, and generally been a good all round entertainer!0 -
I would like to nominate Postingalwaysposting for her thread Blackpool@home on the dfw board. This thread was for all the dfw's who couldn't get to Blackpool for the meet-up some of us arranged. Posting went to a lot of effort to get Blackpool-themed photos ready for throughout the day. She hasn't had an easy time of it recently and it was really kind and generous of her to do this for the rest of us on the board :beer:Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
