Problem with TSB contactless payments not registering with Tfl

I've recently started using my TSB contactless to pay for my Tfl travel due to the £5 monthly incentive, but have noticed that the payments aren't registering/showing on my account either as pending transactions, or payments taken.

As an example, I used it 5 consecutive days last week and only 1 day has 'registered' and the full payment shows on my statement.

When I tap in, the green symbol beeps / shows as payment successful on the yellow Oyster reader and gates open. For those who aren't familiar with the system, if your card has insufficient funds the reader will beep red and gates won't open.

Since there are often Tfl ticket inspectors travelling my route regularly, I'm worried that if my card is checked it won't show that I have paid my fare and having to face fine + possible prosecution.

I know with every single other card I have used as contactless on the tube network, most of them will register the payment as pending and the full balance won't be taken until the following day to allow for fare capping purposes but again, this is not even happening here.

I haven't tried using the card contactless elsewhere yet.

Has anyone else had anything similar happen to them?

Contactless payments can sometimes take a few days to show up, it's normal. My missus used a credit card contactless in Tesco recently and it took nearly a week to show up. None ever show up same day for me, usually at the earliest they show up overnight and more normally take 2-3 days.

Given that the earliest I used it was last Monday which was 22 Feb and today is now 3 March and nothing showed up yet, that's 8 working days and my balance hasn't changed either.

The only one that the payment has been taken from my account is I presume for this Monday's travel (29 Feb) because the way Tfl usually works with contactless is to take the payment the following day (payment taken/showing on statement on 1 March).

Also, every single other card I have used contactless whilst using Tfl, like I stated before, the payment has always shown in pending transactions whenever I have logged in to online banking, same goes for credit card accounts, the available balance has been deducted by the amount.

Do you have a TFL online account and registered your TSB card details?

While contactless payments take some time to show up in my TSB balance, they appear almost immediately on the TFL website. I was surprized when I check the site from my phone after boarding a bus to find the tap made a minute or so before was already listed.
