I've just asked a girl out on a date but she's turned me down. She's now done this a few times, so the last time I was clever, and as well as telling her I'm really good at sex, and have done it loads, I brought along evidence from the STD clinic of all of the diseases I've caught from having lots of sex with different girls.

She still won't sleep with me, can someone tell me which is the best regulator to report her to?

    Offsex? Offsh$%? S%dOFF? ;)

Give it some time A YEAR or so, and try again OP, this smacks of desparation and is doing more harm than good in your aims.

OP - you are not clear about what you are trying to upgrade from, if you are trying to upgrade from their basic Cash Account then I would say your chance of an upgrade is zero - you have to get that off your back first. A couple of years back I could never get anything other than my Cash Account so I closed it, a couple of months later I applied for and got the normal Classic current account and upgraded it myself within OB to Classic Plus.
  • On a related point: I applied over the internet for one of these on Tuesday (01/03/2016 16:33) and I haven't heard anything back from them (other than an immediate standard response to acknowledge my application).
How long does it normally take?

Can't say what's normal, but I applied online last night around midnight, account confirmed just after noon.

I think it actually varies but generally it's quite quick online. I've had my account details minutes after applying. I've had a few TSB accounts too.

    Are you off your head?

Let's just say that you're not playing the game smartly.

Anyway, they don't want you. Let it go.

Do you really think they didn't already know?

I have no idea how their profiling works, but if I had some kind of decision making powers and someone lied about not having a list of accounts that I can see listed on their credit report (they don't know the bank names of course, but they can see the accounts) I'd be wary approving anything they ask for.

Sounds like you've been referred to underwriting.
