Refund from Vodafone continually delayed

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble receiving a refund from Vodafone and have tried to resolve the issue as best as i can but to no avail.

I cancelled my account with Vodafone within the 14 days permitted by them. However, i was continually charged despite this and upon discovery cancelled my direct debit and called them to resolve the issue. It was agreed that i would receive the money back from them and any direct debit that was 'owed' to them would be cleared within 3-5 working days. 3-5 days passed and nothing was heard from Vodafone, when i called them back i was told the advisor i was on the phone with didn't act upon the call and that the appropriate form would be send to the financial department and i would hear back within 3-5 working days. I've had the same reply on 5 calls for over a month and I'm beginning to think that I'm being taken for a ride but i'm unsure how to take this further. Does anyone have experience with receiving refunds from Vodafone? Did you have the same problem? How did you get it resolved?

Getting anything resolved with Vodafail is mission impossible.

You can resort to the DD guaranty, but keep your eye on your credit files as Voda's idiots or computers can easily report negative information to them without giving it much (any?) thought.

Have a look at the Sticky: Official Vodafone Complaints/Query Thread at the top.

The only way to deal with these clowns is via their executive complaints team. I found ringing them and opening with "can I have your registered address to serve court proceedings to please" was a way to get someone to act.
