I've not been around as am having the busiest period I have had for ages! oh has been away all week, which has had quite a negative impact on dgd, while she doesn't have some of the more extreme issues that some kids in her situation have, there are clearly some attachment issues

Just popped in to share my exciting news :j Ok so over the last couple of weeks I have made some BIG (sorry pippi!) decisions. I am currently applying to do a masters in psychology in preparation for apply to do a doctorate in clinical psychology and when I started looking into it the application needs to be in by end of April but we are going to Brasil 22nd March for 3 weeks so really I've got just under 3 weeks to get it done
I've also decided to return to work now proper and a friend of mine (an old colleague who I met when I recruited her about 5 years ago) proposed to me we start applying for jobs together as a job share - as at our level pt jobs don't often come up. Great idea I thought so we've been looking & applying for interesting roles in our field. We had an interview today and was offered the post! :j
Wow feels so good to be back to my old self again x
Well done :j:jDMP Started June 20160 -
Just downloaded an app called Receipt Hog where you snap your receipts from all sorts of places which you get points for and then can redeem for cash (or something like that!) I know we've got a few receipt snappers so thought I'd mention as not one I'd heard of before but spotted in someone's signature on the Make £10 a day challenge.

I use Receipt Hog, it's not bad but don't expect to win on the spins! :rotfl:
I'm not far off my first amazon voucher, I had it the middle of Jan so not too bad going considering I don't remember to do it most of the time

 DNMS that is fantastic news. Congratulations on your new job, and also on your decision to become Dr DNMS. Good to hear from you...:j
I'm late checking in because I finally made myself sit down and complete my mam's crocheted Mother's Day gift. It's all done and packed ready for dh to post tomorrow but it took me until after half past ten tonight to get finished.
Taking another day off work tomorrow. It is my intention to go back to work on Monday, but I'm still a bit worried about my state of mind and how quickly I lose my temper over the slightest thing at the moment. I feel completely incapable of making any decisions at the moment.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »
