What an amateur answer...
There's no difference between dildos, no matter which orifice they are inserted in. And zero chance of it disappearing.
What Guest101 is describing is a 'butt plug'. It has a wider base to keep it in there rather than just shooting out.
Consider yourself educated.0 -

I concede my position to one of more experience!
Though I'm pretty sure the wider base is to stop it going in, rather than falling out, but that's based purely on logic (Honest...)0 -

OP, it sounds like your landlord does mean well so make sure you keep a good relationship with her. I am guessing that she told you to contact the electrician directly because otherwise, all she can do is go between the two to arrange time etc... and indeed, it makes sense that you should arrange visits bypassing her.
Now you say that the electrician has failed to turn up. How many times did this happen and how many times have you tried to contact them?
Do NOT withhold rent. Your landlord has done nothing wrong so far and it is not her fault that the electrician has proven to be unreliable (according to you, maybe he has another story to tell).
Write officially to the landlady and explain when you've contacted the electrician and by which mean and when it was agreed he would come and according to you didn't show up. States when you have tried to contact them and at one number.
Say that although you've agreed to make direct arrangements for them to come, this has failed and therefore you would appreciate if they could either make contact with them again, providing her with days/time you could make yourself available, or arrange for another electrician to come.0
