Hi,
I have a lot of pics and vids on my laptop Windows 7 from over the years and it's slowing down my pc I want to copy them all to disc so i can delete them off my laptop,
When I select them all and click burn I get an error saying disc space is too small
How do I do it?

What makes you think that the presence of pictures and videos will slow your machine down? A CD won't hold many anyway, but what benefit do you think you will get from removing them?0 -
If I wanted advice on how what was slowing it down I would have asked, if you can't answer my question don't post.:cool2:

You could manually select only those which will fit on one CD, burn, then manually select some more to fit the next CD, and the next.....
Or this might help

Thanks that's just what I'm after cheers everyone for the help0 -
Files on a computer doesn't slow it down, don't be snippy with people trying to offer you legitimate help.
You're wasting your time and won't fix the problem.
If the disk is absolutely full, that can cause some issues, but otherwise it won't.
Have you tried a defrag..Hello There. :beer:0 -
Yes I've pretty much tried the usual including defrag disc cleanup etc0
-
Put them on a memory stick, not a CD.
A 16GB stick that holds 20x as much as a CD is so cheap on Amazon you can only order it as an addon item.
Not that it'll speed up your computer anyway.0 -

As has been said, buy a decent sized memory stick OR get some cloud storage space?
Also, dont keep only one copy of the files - it is known for USB drives, hard disks and even CDs and DVDs to fail.
Personally i'd put them on the cloud somewhere. Loads of free options.
And it wont make a jot of difference to the machine speed.
I'd say you need to do a fresh install, and look at buying more RAM if you're running 2GB or less.0
