Also going forward, I would suggest that you take a photograph of the meter at each reading to ensure that you can look back to see what the meter was actually reading.

Will just keep my eye on it moving forward, i am sure that it was a typo, at least i know its not a gas leak (even though i didnt think it was).

I suspect my biggest frustration is not being able to get anywhere with Scottish Power. I find them really had to contact, talk to or resolove problems. Honestly if someone had taken my call, spoke to me and walked through it with me i would have been 150% calmer. But sometimes these big firms cant really deal with the customer in the best way.
