Lost all car keys :(

Hi, I am really just after some advice regarding lost car keys. I know the inevitable answer is it is going to cost me a fortune! (I wonder if there is a market for cars without keys!!!!)
Basically I lost my main remote key fob on Saturday and my spare one seems to have disappeared from the key draw at home.
My car is a 2003 ford fiesta - is my best option to just bite the bullet and go back to dealership to get new keys or is there any cheaper options. The car is not meant to last for that much longer so handing over ££££ is going to hurt!!
Thanks for your advice in advance.

If the dealer can't supply keys to code, then the simplest solution may just be to scrap it.0

first thing I'd do is spend a few hours thoroughly searching the house in the hope that they turn up.0

Yes I think I will turn house upside down once more.
Scrap value of my car is about £20 according to a website. Worth getting new keys if the car will last me another 2 years?

How much are new keys/immobiliser chip, if the dealer can supply to code?
How much if they can't?
What's it worth, with a set of keys?0 -
Privately I could probably sell the car for 500/600. Just passed its MOT and just renewed road tax for 6 months.
I have been quoted around £400 to have all the locks changed with two new keys. £200 for new keys without the locks being changed.0 -
a lot of insurance policies now cover this so worth a look at your schedule
car would need recovering to ford to have a key made and coded so recovery plus will easily pan out £300+0 -

You will get a refund on the tax if you sell or scrap so you can discount the cost from your valuation to keep/scrap.0 -
The dealer just rang with a quote of over £600 quid.
Christ this is the worst week of my actual life!0 -
Local locksmith? I needed a replacement key for my car and was quoted £135. In the end got one copied by Timpsons for £40 as I didn't need the remote locking feature.
For £600 it's probably cheaper to replace all the locks.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

You're forgetting one small detail. It's not the actual locks that's the problem. It's that there's no immobiliser chip to copy.0
