Rescheduled flight ahead of time

Hi all
Sorry if this is somewhere previous. I want to know if anyone can help me with the following issue.
Me and my Dad are travelling to Berlin for a night at the end of this month. Due to cost/time constraints we booked flights in and out with separate carriers. Our indirect flight home with Aer Lingus was due to leave Dublin at 14.30 after arriving from Berlin at 12.25. All fine.
However, I've now had an email saying we've been rescheduled and are now due to leave Dublin at 18.20 (over the 3 hours). Does this mean we are due compensation, even though we have been notified ahead of time?
Any help would be great. Thanks

Where is 'home'? The length (distance) of the flight from Dublin can affect payments, if any. As can you having more than two weeks notice.0

Home is Birmingham. The date of the return flight is 27th March.0

Yes. In that if you are given more than a fortnight's notice (which you have been) then you are not entitled to any compensation. There is always a risk in buying to unconnected single journeys, especially if your schedule is tight. Hopefully an extra three hours in Berlin can be put to good use.0 -
I read it as an extra 3 to 4 hours wait in Dublin0

Yeah that's right 3/4 hours in Dublin as a layover. I don't Suppose that changes anything?0

Yes - it doesn't change a thing. More than 14 days notice, no compensation due.0
