  • I had a go but to be honest it made me realise fairl quickly that I need to find another way of earning money! I am hopeless at it! At least with AQA you got some time to look stuff up! Plan C here I come!!

Fishface, you could try Texperts http://www.texperts.com/ they do the same thing. But I would consider trying AQA again as I got in on my 2nd attempt (you know what to expect 2nd time round :D)

Ok folks, I've been reading this with interest!! lol

Where on earth do you get the answers from??? Do you have to google each time?? Do you have to answer a set amount per week/month etc? What constraints are there, if any?

    Hi Sal
Yes, you can use their internal database, any search agent on the web, ask friends, family, use instant messaging to pals online, skype etc.. etc..

You do have a set amount of time to answer a question and I don't think you have a set amount per week/month that you must answer but you must be active.

I have a full time job and am just starting out with evening AQA. So far I am enjoying it, but it can be difficult and find I just need to exhaust every avenue of research to get that answer back.

    Good luck

    Well,

I've just sent off my email requesting more information and have had an automated response saying they do have vacancies in the UK and that my application form/job spec etc. will be sent in the next few days. Here's hoping!

  • Just had a look on the website and it doesn't say anything about recruiting in the UK. Is there a secret e-mail address or something? And if so, what should I say?

It appears they're no longer looking for UK researchers. I'd keep checking as the ad seems to return once every couple of weeks.

I'm still waiting to have my initial 30 questions marked! Hopefully the Senior Researcher who is responsible for me will be back from her holiday soon. I'm raring to go (if they still want me)!

    Morning Baxgttdi

Did they tell you, you weren't getting a form, or did you get the auto reply saying an application form, job description and test would be sent out within a few days? With AQA, I mean?
