is the Iphone battery generally better than a Samsung Galaxy (s6)

Have you owned a Iphone and a Samsung galaxy (s6),
what is the battery life like on both, from the point of view how quickly they go from full charge 100% to say 10%

(lets assume you use them the same, in the same way, the same usage)

What tends to have a better battery usage life ?

Key question for me is can i replace the battery by taking off the cover and is it very expensive .
Battery life depends upon usage and your battery life will not be the same as my battery life no matter what OS .

i have an iphone 6, my missus an s6, there is not a lot in it. I'd say the iphone edges it due to that the QHD screen on the s6 being quite a battery hog, but we havent tested them like for like.

Although real life benchmarks suggests the s6 may be quite a bit better for continuous video playback tests and other tests.
