How long away from Virgin Media to be new customer?

I have been haggling with Virgin but wonder how long I have to leave Virgin for to be able to return as a new customer?

Many Thanks

  • I simply got in touch with BT and set up new broadband and phone. Virgin got in touch and eventually knocked my monthly bill from 44 to 18 quid, this included upgrade to 200mb broadband.

    Hope that helps.

You can always back out of any BT deal within 14 days. They have to inform Virgin who will certainly try to retain you as a customer.

I think you have to be away from Virgin for 12 months to be seen as a new customer.
