Hope everyone is doing well.
A brand new week is upon us – let’s make it a good one!

Store cupboard tea tonight – baked sweet potatoes with tuna and salad :A
Covering two classes tonight :A
Got dropped off so didn’t need to pay for parking – £2 saved
No packed lunch today– got one of the boots £1 sandwiches rather than a full meal deal
Biz planning – email newbie with info, twitter/fb, class planning, maybe write a quick blog...
Voluntary work on lunch break...eek, I’m always so bad with this but it’s good at the end of the year as it counts towards CPD – must get on with it...
OH is job hunting. I’ve explained v clearly that we can’t live on one wage any longer. The flat being empty is the somewhat heavy straw that broke the camel’s back. It’s tough because we both made the decision about 2 years ago that we could live off one wage while he was building up his business, but building up has been a lot more of a slower process than he imagined. He always feels like he’s on the cusp of something working out and it seems that whenever we have these discussions he ends up getting loads of clients for a couple of weeks and everything is temporarily ok, but the good times are not making up for the weeks of no income in between. He feels like he’s failed at his biz and it’s pride that’s stopping him from facing reality and getting a job/giving it up, but I don’t see it like that at all – it’s not as though he had a great business that has now gone down the pan because of something he did; he’s just not built it up yet. I told him that was complete nonsense because surely ‘being proud’ is being able to pay your half of the mortgage... I’m sick of it now so it’s got to stop. 0 -
Hi,
Checking back in to add some extra money saving bits I have done. Didn't get my free fitness session clearing that big flower bed as received a long phone call, but never mind, can add:
*Shuffled some funds....boring process, but all done with the aim of maximising loyalty points for vouchers.
*Paid a 50p into my sealed pot.
*Updated grocery budget (£3 underspend this week, so a good start to the month)
*Entered a competition.
*Postie brought us both a 'My John Lewis' free coffee & cake voucher & another voucher for free chocolate eggs.
*Made a new desk jotter from scrap paper.
*Did some surveys. Toluna again told me there were no surveys for me, but there actually were, so I shall check this in future.
*Did 1 annoying thing from my lists.
Cheers,
