Moving to a new town...

Parts of Huddersfield are ok. Train links to Leeds/Manchester/Liverpool/York/Newcastle/Scarborough ... as far as I can remember.
You really do not want to live in Dewsbury. It's cheap for a reason.0 -
Don't move to Washington. It's a hole. Shops, nightlife and transport links aren't great. Not that many decent jobs around either.
If you fancy the north east sunderland is a bit better, though workwise it isn't great either. Though there's at least a couple of nice beaches and some lively pubs.0 -
Having lived in the next town to Worksop for half my life, i wouldn't personally recommend living there. It was always seen as quite a rough town, lot of drug problems and crime etc. Its got a small town mentality (as my town did), not much seems to happen there, employment isn't great and unless you like that kind of things i'd suggest somewhere else. Nobody i knew who grew up there has stayed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
