CarPhone Warehouse Credit Check Fails

I have failed the Carphone Warehouse (CPW) credit check twice this week when trying to buy a pay monthly deal with Vodafone. I called Vodafone directly and they said I had a perfect credit rating and gave me a reference # to confirm it. I signed up to Experien, Equifax and Callcredit and on all 3 my credit rating is perfect/excellent. Went back to CPW today with information but got no satisfaction. Does anyone know who is accountable or responsible for their credit check process?

They were lying, they don't have access to your credit rating, only you can see it. Lenders, pone contract companies just see your credit history.

Vodafone doesn't have to accept you as a customer.

Any particular reason why you wanted to start an airtime agreement with Vodafone over the others?

Have a good look at the MSE Forums and you'll see many a complaint about them (myself included!)
