Hi,
I've just found out a close friend of mine has suffered an acute mental breakdown and is recovering. She isn't up to visitors yet but I'd like to send her a parcel of thoughtful goodies that she might appreciate. Any clever ideas? TIA

I was going to suggest a beauty box from maybe Latest In Beauty, but you could make your own.
Card Factory do some nice boxes, buy some tissue paper to line the box and have a wander around Boots/Superdrug/Body Shop etc and see what takes your fancy. There are some nice "mini" products around, maybe buy ones that she might not have tried. Parcel it up and send it via a courier, perhaps?0 -
I would try to get something that she really liked prior to being I'll, maybe some nice toiletries or shampoo etc.
I wouldn't know what to buy really but would get something along these lines for my friends.
I would also send a nice card with a personalised message, will be nice when she is getting well to know you were thinking of her0 -
I'm a very practical person. When I get stressed etc I eat crap and it make me feel worse.
Could you get some healthy long life food for the house, maybe some fancy treat crispbreads, that kind of thing? Nothing that needs much effort but still better than crisps!2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

Psychiatric medication can give you a really dry mouth so some boiled sweets or fancy cordial might make a nice little extra.0
