don't forget that if you want to double up you must have used your nectar card in your home store in the last 12 months

    From the FAQ webpage (https://livewellforless.sainsburys.co.uk/nectar-double-up-frequently-asked-questions/)

"Please be aware, if you haven’t shopped in this store in the last year, you’ll have to call the Nectar Helpline at the Customer Service Desk before you can proceed."

It can't be beyond the wit of man to do this sort of promotion by handing over your Nectar card as payment and giving double the benefit while doing so.

Why they want their customer services desks to be clagged up with people exchanging points for vouchers I have no idea.

It is clog up customer services or clog up the checkouts.

That said, for previous runs of this offer my store has had a separate desk just for this promo - so clogs up neither.

Any way of finding where your home store is please?

My nearest store is a tiny local store, the big store I go to tells me they aren't my home store.

I would just call the nectar helpline 0344 811 0811. Or you can speak to an adviser via live chat on their website, they can tell you straight away who your home store is.

Some really good buys to be had. All the Skylanders Superchargers starter packs are massively reduced. The Wii pack is only £12.99 making it £6.50 in nectar points. I also got some hard shell luggage the large case is RTC from £60 to £40 making it £20 in nectar points. Make sure you also log into My Coupons by Sainsburys as you may have an extra points coupon/discount voucher for a minimum spend or double/triple points, meaning you also get some of your points back.

The whole promotion is flawed IMHO. They are relying on customers knowing which Sainsburys category a product is in. When the have bought a voucher and the product isnt in it, not only is the till tied up sorting it out, but you then have the customer services tied up sorting it out.

Large voucher queues at Customer Services according to Mrs Frog.....half of them buying vouchers, half of them complaining that the vouchers they bought aren't being accepted for the products they want to buy.
