I currently don't need to add new payees, don't even need to use any money on my account, not even to use my card. All I want is alternative way of online banking to see the activity on card (visa debit card).

To clarify: I am not asking for alternative way of accessing online banking without usage of pinsentry device but alternative online way where to see activity (the statement). Its big difference.

Your statement is produced by the company that issued your card. That's why only they can provide you with a statement. The Visa network operates behind the scenes.

Which card issuer are you referring to? Barclays? I can view my Barclaycard statements and bank account statements without using PINsentry.

What are you really trying to do? Check someone else's statement?

SnowTiger. No, my activity as I previously said. Even if you see your card statement without using pinsentry device, you are actually still logging to online banking. I was asking for online banking's alternative so different website where could I sign up.

Why do you want to view your statement on another website?

There is no 'alternative'. Online banking is online banking, that's it. The details won't also be accessible on some other website, in fact it would be very worrying if they were. You should be able to access it the same as before, irrespective of a replacement card being issued. You don't need a device to log on to any CC account that I've ever had, or indeed know of.

If you've had your online banking disabled, that's a different matter; you'll have to wait for a new username and password to reach you by post or ring them up to ask about card activity.

If you cannot or don't want to log into your account, you will have to phone. If you don't want to do that either, there is no other way.

The whole thing sounds very dodgy ("I don't want my CC to know I still exist").

Your card is issued by your credit card provider

Agree that it all sounds dodgy, also OP snuck in a passing reference in post 8 to the fact (in as much as any of this is related to the real world!) that it's actually a debit card, despite this being on the CC board:

I gave you the answer to your question in post #2, it's still No however much you want it to be Yes.

Sounds odd, I've got those calculator things for NatWest, RBS, CoOp, Nationwide, First Direct, HSBC, M&S and Clydesdale, and not one of those doesn't let me login without the device?

EDIT - googled PINsentry specifically, came up with Barclays - you can login without the device with them too - http://www.barclays.co.uk/Helpsupport/LoggingintoOnlineBanking/P1242604492621

NatWest and RBS you don't need the pinstry to log in to the website.

Also I can log into my first direct account without it aswell.

Because I am waiting for the replacement card to be shipped to my address on account.

You have a strange way of phrasing things.
You do NOT need the pinsentry device to log on and view your statements on the website of any known UK bank. Please tell us the name of this bank.
You do not have an account with visa. You have an account with X bank. You have a visa debit card linked to that bank account. On what basis do you imagine Visa would be able to provide you with your bank statement?
If you are concerned about fraudulent use on your previous debit card, then call or visit your bank to discuss your concerns.
If there was a website out these somewhere where my bank statements could be viewed I would want it closed down ASAP.

That's what he said (check the double negative!).
