To check it,i have just rang my own mobile from my own BT Landline and the voice prompt said 3p a minute.so it looks like it has gone up!!!! (So its important to keep your voice prompt on to avoid any unexepected increases.)PF.0

I have printed out the latest figures - as I do every couple of weeks - for both companies (using the printer friendly / text list).
According to this 18866 have changed their UK Fixed Calls to 0.5ppm on top of the 2p connection charge. I am totally confused given the site is still advertising itself widely on the site as free UK calls.

It's 0.5p per min using the 0808 number only, it's still 0p a min with the 18866 prefix on BT lines.

Haven't made any calls today but up to 9.30 last night they weren't charging per min. Still 2p connection only. Just checked online invoice.0

Yes but if click on "Rates as .txt file? Click here" on the right hand side of the screen it indicates that UK calls are 0.5ppm even using the 18866 prefeix (As far as I know they are not charging this at the moment, but that's what it says - unless I am misunderstanding)0 -
This is the "rates as .txt file" link

It's the price for 0808 numbers, it's obviously an error that this link is on the 18866 prefix page too. If you're really concerned you could ask them
Of course it's likely they'll increase their prices as time goes on, as they have already. Just make the most of them while you can
