Plusnet woes

Is anyone able to tell how to make a formal complaint to Plusnet.

We had an engineer arranged to install new line and fibre broadband. Needless to say, it was a no show. I have tried every possible means to get an answer as to why the appointment was not kept, without success.

There seems to be simply no one at Plusnet (phone or online chat) who can answer any questions relating to this.

How does this company win so many customer service awards? How bad are the others if this is the best on offer?

Am I making this too complicated, all I want to know is why the appointment was not kept. I cannot post on their forums as you have to be a customer to join the forums and I am not (as much as I have tried to be).

I don'y know what happens next, is someone going to randomly turn up at another time? Are they simply going to pretend that this never happened (I have email and text messages to confirm appointment)?

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

Prem

Edit: Call wait times area currently 45 minutes.

You need to escalate the issue with a team manager.
  • Wish I could, call wait times currently 45 minutes.
  • Write to them, get a free certificate of posting from Post Office.

Problem is that its BT OpenReach who are the engineers not Plus Net .

Have you checked to see if the fibre is on as the engineer may have only needed to visit the cabinet .
  • I have no line at the moment so would definitely need the engineer to visit

Plusnet probably won't be able to answer - they use Openreach who are a law unto themselves (hopefully about to change though for the better)

    Still Plusnet's responsibility.
