Anyone tried the LadyCare Lifetime device?

I have been using mine for just over a month and slowly coming off my low dose hrt as suggested as an option on the LadyCare site. Until I am completely off the hrt it will be difficult to say for sure but I do feel generally better and seem to be losing a bit of weight! Hurray! However.... I am currently experiencing my first period for about 2 years which I notice someone else on this thread mentioned. She said she contacted the company and said this happened to 1 in 500, but their own research figures mentioned 29% of the trial groups started periods again. I have also contacted Ladycare, currently awaiting a repsonse, prior to discovering that info, but do feel reassured that it isnt unusual.
In the meantime I keep my partner and friends entertained by becoming attached to metal chairs, checkouts etc!!

Senn this advertized in the weekend press. it appears to be a magnetic device to help control menopause symptoms/ I am on HRT and would like to stop it but cant cope with the flushes and insomnia. its advertized for £19.99, which seems reasonable as it is about the same as a years spply of HRT, BUT---- does it work?
Hi,
I am also on HRT and I thought I would try it as I was coming off the HRT and I am sorry to say it didn't work for me and I gave it about three months trial, I was so glad to go back on HRT I am on premarin 0.3g and I have been on HRT for more than 15 years and I am going to stay on it for as long as I can and I will not be trying anymore new things on the market.
Hope this will help.0 -

That reminds me of my friends cat who used to wear one of those magnetic cat flap activating collars. One day he was found stuck the radiator and on another day he was seen carrying a teaspoon all day as one had stuck to the magnet on his collar!
I have one of these devices and should really start wearing it again, I suffer with PMDD (severe form of PMT) and had a Mirena coil fitted a couple of months ago. This is supposed to be great for PMDD but from the murderous feelings I've been having the past few days I don't think this Mirena is going to be all I hoped for
Do you think its ok to wear the Ladycare with a Mirena coil?I have realised I will never play the Dane!
Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!!0 -
I purchased the Ladycare magnet yesterday on an impulse buy as I was just so fed up with menopause symtoms - hot flashes, tiredness and memory problems. So far I haven't had a hot flash but that maybe coincidence. But there does seem to be some difference in my outlook - and I have forgotten most of the time that I am wearing it. Will keep readers posted as to what happens (or doesn't happen) next. Here's hoping ...:T0

Ok, its been about a week and I have had the threat of a hot flush hit me BUT so far its only once or less a day and has not evolved into a fully fledged hot flush/flash (or woteva they call it). After 3 years of hell, I'm starting to feel normal again! But at this point it could be purely me kidding myself so I will post again in a few weeks time. But for the time being, placebo or real cure,:rotfl: I just don't care.0

Several people i know already use Ladycare and give it such good feedback, i definately want to try one. There is a new purple glitter one available in Boots and from ladycare-uk.com cos one of my friends ordered online (directly from Ladycare's website) and received a free booklet with loads of tips and menopause advice.0

Hiya guys, sorry to jump in, i came across this and jumped at it!
My mum had a hysterectomy a year ago, and cant take HRT due to the hormones in it affecting her liver and she is suffering terribly with hot flushes and other menopausal symptoms! So what i guess im getting at is, would you recommend this product? My mum is willing to try anything but we are on an economy drive and i dont want to buy it if it doesnt work
thanks for your advisexxx

Of course it doesn't 'work' , but if for some reason it makes your Mum feel happier or more relaxed then like most good placebos it will be of help.
But hey maybe I'm just a cynic and that new purple glitter version will do the job :rotfl:0 -

Lol!! Well i dont believe in all this stuff myself, but if it just makes something click in her mind and makes her feel better its worth it, as she cant take anything with hormones in due to her liver she is really struggling at 45 after having a hysterectomy so i might give it a go for herxx

I bought one, it did absolutely nothing for me. HRT is the way to go ! Been on that for nearly 2 years, brilliant.0
