I once rented a place that had a few issues, and when we kept bringing things up to Estate agent to pass on to LL they said they wanted to sell the house. We only did our 6 months tenancy then moved!
They put the house on the market but didn't end up selling it I don't think.
Some LL can't really be bothered to be LL. We now have a LL managed property with a really nice LL who is happy to come fix things when needed. So far my experience of LL managed is much better than EA managed (I've done 2 of each) but I'm sure some people have experienced bad landlords who do manage the property themselvesTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0
