The only Cashbacks are a share of third-party referral fees. For a reason that I cannot fathom out, existing customers can get a Cashback on a collective switch.

While comparison sites are useful, I don't see why a 3rd party should make any significant cut on my switch when that full fee could instead further reduce my bills.
I discussed it with the rep who seemed to appreciate the weirdness (in many cases, such as taking another npower tariff). He also said that a price-matching service is something they hope to be able to offer in the future; I don't know if that's a real ambition given industry and competition regs.0
