Can I switch after 14 days?

I would like to switch my provider after 14 days. It has some minor speed issues, but to be honest, I eye on another deal that it's must better. What can I do? I don't want to stay with no internet for any day. If I sign up with the new provider, will I have to pay anything to the previous? Can they let me with internet until the new provider sets up? I can pay pro-rata for the time I was connected, but definitely not huge lump sums that premature contract termination usually requires. Any advice?

No you can't, you get up to the day of activation to cancel. After that you need to give the current provider reasonable time to resolve any faults before they'd consider letting you leave without penalty.

Depends on the cooling off period which is not the same for all providers. Talk Talk for example allows new customers to change their mind within 20 days. But in that case you would be cancelling your switch and not switching again.

    Read your contract.

Seems you don't grasp the implications of a minimum term contract-usually for a minimum of 12 or 18 months. Unless there is a get out as above. As ever, consult the terms for your own provider.
