Sky broadband disconnection fee

Daughter was out of contract with Sky, cancelled service and had paid last Direct Debit. Is now being chased for a £16 disconnection fee by a debt collection agency. Is this valid, do they have such a thing?

Moved to Virgin and they handled it, about six months ago.0

That will be the BT Openreach disconnection fee.
Its normally picked up when you move to another provider, maybe not with Virgin.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
