I am going to Spain in June. Just wondering which account would be best for withdrawing Euros whilst I am over there? Anyone have any ideas please? Thanks

What accounts do you have? Halifax (Credit Card) seems to be usually rated best - it's the one I use. I believe Nationwide follows fairly closely behind.0

It's Halifax Clarity, not just any Halifax credit card.

I believe I have read that that a Santander debit card can be used free of charge in Santander ATMs in Spain, but please don't take my word for it, find out for sure yourself.0

Correct, but only if you are a Santander Select customer and have got the gold coloured debit card.
Without a doubt, this is the cheapest debit method for foreign ATMs - zero fees of any sort and GBP/EUR currency conversion at effective interbank rates. Worked well for me in Portugal last year...0 -

aha, I stand very corrected. Wonder if that's a recent change for Spain, as the foreign ATM benefit was specifically touted as a Select benefit in the past...0
