Bagged up some of my penny jar so I have £21 going to the bank and £37 still in there in unbaggable amounts which was more than I was expecting. Which brings my total to £162.78

I am starting to really enjoy living credit card free. Today I bought a £12 shoe rack and I am so proud of my £12 shoe rack because I actually paid for it with real money. If I had bought a £50 posh one on the credit card I would have felt good for about half a day and then stressed and guilty. I do feel a little bit guilty as I could have put that £12 off my debts but I am trying to make the house a little more homely and it makes the our entrance way look so much better as before there was just a big pile of shoes there so I think I can justify my £12 spend xx

it's feng shui. it is stopping money walking out of your door by keepibg it all in the house :)

Do you remember how long it took you to be accepted once you joined Textbroker ? I joined 4 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. I know it says up to 8 weeks but I thought I would ask I am getting paranoid I have been rejected and they don't tell you lol x
I think it was about a week when I joined but that was 4 or 5 years ago. If you've not heard after 8 weeks, then you can send them a reminder message just asking if they've had a chance to review your application. People have found they've got back to them after this in the past.

I've just got that account... :D They said you get paid interest on the first £100 of contactless payments - where you wave your card and don't put your PIN in. I think it's anything under £30 that you can wave your card.

Siouxsie, could I pm you when my paperwork's gone through about the general interest cos I have a question that I didn't want to ask them!

Well explained Sugarplum :T Yes, it's a free £5 each month if you manage the whole £100 :money:

Yes, of course. Feel free to PM me. If I know the answer I'll happily share!

Oh, and I found a penny on the pavement tonight :D Actually, I found two but the first was stuck in the concrete so I only rescued one :rotfl:
