Family credit fraud

This is a nightmare. We've just sold our house and moving into rented accommodation next week, but we're looking to buy a place to renovate next month. I'm just hoping that the mortgage lenders don't touch Noddle and see my ridiculously low score. I've got a score of 999 on experian and 1/5 with Noddle.0

No I don't live at my parent's address. It's only on my Noddle report. On the advice of action fraud I've raised a report with them and given the reference number to noddle, hoping they will just remove the defaults from my credit report. My brother has admitted the fraud to the creditor and I've asked them to change the account to his name and they're going to get back to me.
Don't listen to them, it's utter tripe.0 -

do you live at your parents house? if not you'll get fraud markers on your file... and in having that on your file some of your genuine accounts could be closed.
Do you mean if I'm registered with CIFAS? This statement exists under the fraud section in credit expert:
"If you are on the CIFAS register, whenever you apply for a new credit account, or make a change to an existing financial agreement (e.g. request an increase to your overdraft limit), the bank or financial institution involved will receive a CIFAS warning notice. They will then check your application in more detail, which will slow the process down but will not affect the decision itself. Being on the CIFAS register will not affect your Experian Credit Score."0 -
Reporting fraud to the police has no effect on your CRA file.
You won't get "fraud" markers applied to your credit file.
The only markers are CIFAS markers, and they only cover fraud that you were a party to. You were not, you're a fraud victim.
Thanks boo_star. I wish people wouldn't give nonsense advice!!0 -

That's the "protective registration."
It's aim is to stop people using your identity to apply for credit in your name. It requires additional checks.
You won't get any markers from reporting fraud, please stop worrying.

As you can see, none of those apply to victims of fraud except 0, which has to be requested.0 -

however, unless OPs brother openly admits to the fraud and gets themselves in serious trouble, then OP has an issue with legit accounts a x address and 'false' accounts at xx address.0 -
