In ten years time do you see her sobbing, angry, hurt beyond belief because she no longer has any chance of having children. It's the sort of hurt that never goes away.

It does sound like you want the life of having your kids, but they go back to their mum and then you get to live the single life, so the best of both worlds really.
Imagine if you do have children with your new girlfriend and you end up splitting up.
