    I have a relatively short commute and have seen a few times in recent months cars with an opaque film over their rear number plates. I am guessing that this is a protective/packaging film that is on the plate that needs to be removed. The one I saw the other day made the (yellow) plate look white from about 20 yards away and the digits unreadable.

    I doubt it is one of those "anti-flash" films.
    So why the need to post about it. What harm is it doing you!
