    (this isn't a 'I want some money' type thing - I'm never going to buy from them again, so vouchers no good, and obviously its only my word that it was in there and it didn't make me ill so theses nothing to compensate for).

    I don't think you'll get much flack to be fair as you seem to have your reasonable head on - unfortunately most people who post things like this seem to be under some nutty illusion that finding something odd in their food automatically entitles them to thousands of pounds of compo. I'm sure the first thing these people think is "kerching!"

    Most of the time you will receive vouchers as a goodwill gesture, so you may want to re-think your "never buying from them again" stance. To be fair, this probably happens more often than you think - most people just put it in the bin and move on.

  • What do I do?

    I've contacted the company who makes it and the store I bought it from. The store said to bring it in and they will do some quality control on it.

    Who says this site is rubbish? This poster managed to answer their own question before they had even finished posting.
