Foreign object in food

I was eating a well known yoghurt brand and I've found some kind of hard foreign object in it. It was like a cross between a peanut and a fingernail (I'm really hoping it a peanut as it was in my mouth). What do I do? I've contacted the company who makes it and the store I bought it from. The store said to bring it in and they will do some quality control on it. Its not made me ill (although I feel pretty sick from thinking about it!). Can anyone enlighten me on the process

You have informed the store and manufacturer, you could now forget about it0

Was it a fruit yoghurt? Might it have been part of a stone (seed, not boulder)? Or stalk?
Let the manufacturer investigate and you will hopefully be told what it was and how it came to be in your yoghurt. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

lol yes gathered that from one of the other posts I've just finished reading!
tbh it didn't taste of anything....but what am I meant to do with it? Will they tell me what it was? will that take very long? I'd quite like to know. I'm quite anxious about food at the best of times (can only eat certain brands) and I'd just like to know what it is?
(this isn't a 'I want some money' type thing - I'm never going to buy from them again, so vouchers no good, and obviously its only my word that it was in there and it didn't make me ill so theses nothing to compensate for).November 2017 NSD 2/80 -

Could be anything then to be honest. Part of a wing, a wheel, some seat stuffing, a pilot's tooth. The possibilities are endless.
*Sorry. Could not help myself.*0 -
Quite possibly a piece of plastic from the milking process.0

Or you could just get on with your life.0
