Hi Everybody!
I hope that someone out there can give me some ideas. My situation is this...left abusive husband 2 and a half years ago, and took all his debts with me (never again will I fall for "jointly & severally liable"!). My total debt was £30K and my credit status was awful. Since then I've tried really hard and paid off nearly £10K, but I am starting to flounder.
I have a good job with good prospects once I am qualified, but I only earn £1.5K a month after tax and I recently made a pro-rata arrangement with all my creditors (to get the student loans company of my back) that takes up all my disposable income. It makes dealing with things like my son needing new football boots really difficult (although I am a fully-fledged member of my local Freecycle group).
What I am looking for is a second income, preferably something I can do at weekends or from home when I am not at my "proper" job. Does anyone have any suggestions/experiences they can share (and yes I did go down the Kleeneze route once, what a nightmare that was!)
Thanks a lot :j

nothing on the working from home side of things, but a few of us are making £££ through cashback sites like quidco (www.quidco.com) and topcashback (www.topcashback.co.uk), and other sites like that. You can make money for free doing daily clicks and signing up for newsletters and things, and you can earn cashback on everyday purchases. You will see from my signature that I have quite a bit sat in those accounts. Also ebay everything you no longer need.
Why don't you pop up a list of your income and expenditure and see if we can save you some more £££
p.s. well done for getting out of an abusive relationship, that takes guts xxOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Mrs Spendalot.......can you do the same daily clicks on Quidco AND Topcashback? Because they are for the same merchants I thought I wouldn't be able to do the same 'clicks' for each site?? Would be good if I could do both.....as Tesco's might say....every little bit helps,

This would be liable for tax and NI deductions.
Cash back sites are not, nor is eBaying your own stuff (if that makes sense).
I think posting your SOA may be your best bet ~ it might be that a few cut back tips can really help

one way of making extra money would be doing some matched betting but i wouldnt recommend it unless you study study study how to do it and try it out with a dry run before you use any money ...but money is to be had doing it0
