Go onto the utilities section of the main website, sign up to the cheap energy club and then compare the current deals.
Do the same with Uswitch and energy helpline to ensure you get a good coverage of most of the switchers.
I'm sure other's will suggest other's"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Fix and fall is a rubbish tariff marginally better than standard/variable. The one year d/d fixes are cheaper. Have a look at Sainsburys Energy ( Brit Gas ) and collect a £30 cashback. Eon and EDF are also reliable .Npower/Scot Power is nt..Or if you want to go rock bottom prices try ZogEnergy /GB Energy0

If you are finding the online application so difficult, then most comparison sites also have a helpline number you can call who will take you through things personally.0

You have just missed the cheapest in UK dual fuel fix with the MSE Collective BG 2017 where you could not only lower your daily charges ( from 26p to 19p )but go down to only 8p /kwhr electric and 2.6p/kwh gas..compare those tariffs with the fix n Fall. The gas can be beaten but the electric is prob cheapest. Not only could you have got those rates but can switch exit free plus £30 cashback. I m with BG now and am always looking to get better deals and get the £30 cashback at same time. I ve had three in the past year.
There will probably be another shortly with someone else.Or you could get really good rates if you now go for separate gas/electic suppliers..eg Zog for gas, GB energy for electric which would probably beat the BG Collective.. No Warm Home Discounts with those suppliers though0 -

You know what you pay..but you don`t actually know what you use in Kwhrs and you wont do until you have had a full year of paying your own bills . Please try to think in Kwhrs when working out your usage or imputing into a comp site .One unit of electric is easy..its one kwhr..The gas units have to be converted to kwhrs depending on your meter..Metric meter multiply the units used by 11...the older Imperial meters multiply them by 33.
If your usage is correct you would be classed as low user, very similar to me so maybe looking for a supplier with a low standing charge would be better.Try the comp sites with both dual fuel and separate gas and electric.
I ve just had a quick look on Ukpower on the gas only rates and Daligas was only 9.5 p a day and 2.7 p/kwh and Flow was 19p a day but only 2.16 p a kwh..these are S.Yorks rates one of the cheaper areas I believe0
