today's:

Spectacular fail on the food front.Thought it was time to lose some weight. Eaten sweets in the office all morning, then had pie and chips for lunch and then more of the stock of sweeties (kept for clients children), then more drinks etc etc.
Why did I ever say the word DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have only spent on the lunch, so could be fiscally worse - maybe
Getting dafter. Did mr t order and have just cancelled it as dd in a££I saving me cash as I type. I am now 40 under budget for feb. Hurrah x0 -

Hey

Someone please tell me what a dump bag is - I've never heard of it.
Hit the ground running this morning, so no time to check in after it took me almost half an hour to force myself out of bed. Work is as stressful as ever... just like I've never been away.
So far today:
Checked banking and PAD
Packed lunches
Free lunch for me at work as it was a training day
Still to come
Training
Bit of crochet time
Aiming for a nsd but not sure yet.
Find out how my dad is - he was taken into hospital again today (like I have any capacity left for dealing with another crisis)
Send kids to bed early
Get a shower and an early night
I went to try and see the Head to tell her that I'm struggling - she said she was busy but would find time to see me today. She didn't unfortunately. I'm already counting down to Easter - which is terrible considering that we had a training day today...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

It's basically pre-making meals for the slow cooker. Put them into sandwich bags and then freeze. You can then just throw them into the slow cooker before you leave for work and come home to a lovely home-cooked meal with minimal fuss. It's such a good idea! Any food that's on it's way out can be put into a meal for a later date so I now waste a lot less food than I used to.
I saw it on pinterest but if you give it a google there's literally thousands of recipes.

Morning all :j
Thanks for the start Jonno
After an incredibly lazy weekend
I really need to get on with stuff today:
Dog walks x 2 Done
Check banks Not done
Housework  Done, but still more to do
Take some items to sales unit later (need labelling once I decide what to take) Done
Sow tomato seeds Not done
Washing, dry outside if it doesn't rain, or (more likely
), on the airer Done, after raining this morning, it has dried up and the washing mostly dried outside :T Now finishing off on the airer
Make a loaf in the BM Not done
List an item on ebay Nor this
Take paper recycling to facility in supermarket car park Nope
NOT go into supermarket while I am there
Done
Make a rhubarb crumble Not done
Any surveys, check FPL Done
That lot should take me a while
Hope everyone has a good day
Well, I didn't manage much on my list today, but seem to have been rushing about all day nonetheless!
Rushed around downstairs with the hoover after taking the dog for a run, then went to my sales unit and did a major tidy / rearrangement, which took up the rest of the morning
Would have been a NSD except for the dog's haircut appointment this afternoon. Clean, tidy pooch though
Not sure how long for!
No heating on downstairs but we have the wood burner alight now, with the kettle heating up ready for the washing up
Still got some bits to do, so better get on and get them finished :eek:0 -
Hi February Folk,
Bit of an angry(!) day today but got through it:
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Month Nine:
* OH took car to garage to get minor faults repaired for free. Was told is would take an hour. Ended up hanging around for five hours. How she didn't go on a spending spree in town I don't know. Much respect.
* Parcel up eBay item I'm selling. Buyer has given me two addresses so I can't post it yet as I don't know where it has to go.
* Chase another eBay buyer who hasn't paid.
* Took a packed lunch to work.
* Chase Freecycler who promised to collect and hasn't showed.
* Did not lose patience at work when employer said I could have tomorrow off and then changed mind at last minute. To do so would probably have ended my contract.
* Call hospital who promised me a scan on a Thursday and just sent a letter saying my appointment's on a Monday. It needs to be on my day off.
That's about it. See why I'm angry?!
