Start with a dust pan and sweep?0 -
The most important question I think is: hard floor or carpet? Pull along for the former, upright for the latter.0

Henrietta is just a pink version of Henry.0

Mostly carpet, but hallway is laminate floor.0

Have a tiny flat, but do some work in garage using power tools which makes dust or will connect outlet thingee to vacuum so maybe a henry or Henrietta. It's just that I have a smallish one bedroom flat0

I have an upright, small Dyson DC24 Animal and it does everything I need it to in a large, double fronted, Victorian house.0

The other possible use apart from the small flat and cleaning the car, will be cleaning up wood dust in garage, or possibly attaching it to a power tool to take out the dust. This could be useful if I am using my enclosed garage occasionally as a workshop.0

Dyson handheld, every time. G Tek one meant to be good also but havent used it myself0

I live in a 2 bed flat and I have just bought a Dyson Cordless V6 and I absolutely love it! I love how it can do the floors so easily and then also connect the attachment directly onto the cylinder so it can be handheld. I got it for £199 when it was on sale a few weeks ago in Argos. Definitely worth the investment! I raved about it so much that my mum went out and bought one aswell :-)0
