HELP.... sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...feel free to move it elsewhere apart from the rubbish bin!!!
i have another post "trailer damaged by friend wont sort it" sorry i apologise as i dont know how to link it!! i think the only way to resolve the issue and get anything sorted is to seek a claim through the small claims court.
what i'm after is a letter i can send to my so called friend asking him to reslove the matter before i go down the small claims court avenue.
any help please???

Hi Spaniel,
If you like I can write a letter which I think is appropiate and pm you. It might not be exactly what you want, but it may give you an idea to be going on with. I haven't seen your other post yet.
Let me know if that would be of any help.

I would suggest trying CAB to help you prepare a letter as before you apply to small claims it is required that
You must try and settle a claim before taking court action. If you do not try to settle first, the court may penalise you. So, for example, if a television does not work, there is no point in applying to the court immediately for compensation - you must contact the shop which sold it first to try to solve the problem, and only use the court if you cannot get the problem solved by negotiation. The court will expect you to make your claim in writing, giving the other person a reasonable time to reply – a month is usual. You should also warn them that you will take court action if they fail to reply within the given time.
