Does anyone know my rights with BT in this situation? Their breach of contract (?)

Suggest you send BT a bill for these costs and see what they say .0

Thank you for your advice. I have done that. Waiting on their response. I did ask several times to which body I ought to complain to if complaining about them (In case I need to get that far). Each time, they completely ignored the question.0

You can complain to OFCOM but they won't look at your case. It might trigger an investigation but won't have an impact on you. You'd need to hit deadlock with BT first and they will forward you to: https://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html0 -
Thank you - Yes, as I understand, Ofcom are interested in looking at the bigger picture really.
I have put in a complaint to BT both over the phone and in writing now. I understand that there is a hierarchy first within BT that the complaint could potentially go through, and failing that there is an independent ombudsman who may look at the case. I will just go through the steps, and hope that BT and I can resolve it without it having to go further. Thanks for your input.0 -

The written complaint should do it for you. They should acknowledge your complaint first of all and if you don't get a resolution you like they will most likely deadlock it almost straight away, allowing you to go to a ADR. Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later for you.0
