Fiesta Space saver spare wheel question

Hi all,
I recently bought a Ford Fiesta 2013 (New Shape) 1.25.
It has 15" alloys - 195 / 55 / R15
I'm going to a scrap yard tomorrow to get a space saver wheel.
Could anyone tell me what size their space saver wheel is in their Fiesta so I know what exactly what size I'm looking for.
I take it a 15" Space saver wouldn't fit in the false floor properly.
Cheers
Mark

Why not get a full sized wheel? My last 2 cars had spacesavers and I swapped them for full sized ones.
You may need the thicker carpet or rubber spacer but you should be able to get one of those quite easily.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
space saves are safer, they are meant to crumple on a rear end collision steel part protudes out allow it to bend when impacted.
the regular steelies will stay solid and drive into the back of the rear passengers.0 -

Hi,
Thanks for the replies, but I would prefer spacesaver, so if anyone with a fiesta has one could they let me now what size please.
Thanks0 -
Space saver will be more-or-less the same diameter as the normal road wheel. It has to be, else it wouldn't fit over the brakes, and it would cause rapid wear on the differential if used on the front.
You also need to consider that the space saved by a space saver still has to be available in the spare wheel well, unless you're happy lobbing the wet and muddy flat in with your luggage.
The space saved is usually space wasted - and at the expense of a severe restriction on speed and distance you can travel in the event of needing to use the spacesaver. In addition, the space saver tyres wear very rapidly, and are subject to the usual aging, so if you get a used one from a scrappy you'll probably need to replace the tyre anyway - meaning the full-size matching alloy spare will probably be better value.0 -
I have 2012 Fiesta, my space saver arrived yesterday, it says 125/80R15

Look on eBay for a Fiesta spacesaver.
I've bought the rim and tyre separately from https://www.oponeo.co.uk
When you load the site it has Car Tyres as default. Look to the left and click the tab marked Steel Wheels. I looked and a standard wheel for the 1.25 Fiesta was £33 delivered. The man without a signature.0 -
