PCN by NCP at train station

Hey, thought I'd start off by saying yes I have read the sticky and I will be sending an appeal to NCP.

I've been parking at my local train station a couple of times a week for a few months now when I go into the office. Today I was in a rush, and I forgot to pay for my days parking on RingGo (I usually pay it in the car before I get out).

Through RingGo, I can prove I usually pay for my parking and this was a one off genuine mistake. Do you see any value in me bringing this to their attention when I make my appeal?

Thanks :)

Nope, and you'd be admitting who was driving. No point at all even if you avoided saying who was driving.

Follow the script and appeal AS KEEPER to NCP around day 25, deliberately ignoring the first 14 day 'rush' (discount, LOL!), in order to string it out long enough as keeper, to win at POPLA because NCP won't remember or know, to send you a Notice to keeper as well as a rejection.

    Because they are stupid.

Hopefully it will be longer than that because you won't be appealing for another three and a half weeks.

Please promise that you won't appeal too early, or too late.

  • Ah sorry yes, I pinky swear haha.

After reading the back of the PCN that was stuck to my car, it says I can only appeal in writing. Will second class a couple of days before the deadline be okay, or do they often... 'lose' the letters and so no appeal is registered in time?

If 2nd class I would allow a week. 2nd class letters are not deemed delivered in two days.

So post it on day 21 at the PO itself and keep proof of posting from the PO clerk.

So, bit of an update on this.

I sent the appeal first class on the 12th of March. I got proof of postage.

Yesterday I had a "Notice to Keeper" in the mail.

It seems they have completely ignored my appeal?

Possibly, or they are learning. Unless they know an appeal is from the driver, in fact they SHOULD issue a NTK every time!

Let's see the NTK please, both sides.

I am expecting to see a very non-compliant NTK, incapable of meeting the requirements set out in Schedule 4 of the POFA.

If you can't post links yet, change the http to hxxp and/or put a break in the link to your pictures. But I think with 27 posts, you can post links.

Sorry for the bad quality, I didn't want to leave it longer but I couldn't get access to a scanner. I also may have gone a little bit overboard with blocking out personal information!

If that is hard to read I'll try and get a better copy this week, thanks for your help!
