    I think they are just being slow. I only just got a "Welcome to your account" email so I suspect the ball is rolling now.

    Did you apply online? You may have to wait until you go into branch with your ID if that was the case. The reader also seem takes a long time to arrive which may not be helping.

    I received tha card, PIN, internet passnumber and welome letter aka welcome pack etc within days of each other and less than a week after applying.

    Yeah, I went into the branch with the ID 10 days ago, so I don't think it's that.

    One email mentioned going to a branch with ID, but I assumed it was generic, didn't do it and my FlexDirect still opened and is now running.

    No news on the saver but it's not been 7 days yet.

    Just for completeness - my nationwide saver is now up and running, already made two maximum payments for Feb and March.

    I'll wait a few months and then maybe try again for the second BoS account.
