Plusnet / BT question

Just been reading about the £111 for 1yr line rent & broadband deal ( in the latest MSE email )

He mentioned that PlusNet is part of BT - as I am currently with BT for land line & broadband, would it be possible to switch to the PlusNet deal ?

If it is possible, how much of a faff would it be ?

Thanks for any advice.

Big question is are you out of contract with BT .
If not you will have to pay off the remaining months .
  • Yep good point, which I have thought about..

Been at this address since Oct 2013 and had BT landline since then, so I think that would be ok..

But Broadband, although had this with BT about same time as landline, I vaguely remember speaking to them a few months ago to get it a bit cheaper.

Obviously I will have to call them to see what the situation is with broadband.

Another question is : Am I likely to have a gap in service if I did move to PlusNet, or should it be a seamless switch ?

    Cheers for advice :T

Not necessarily, if you have changed your tariff in that period or renewed, then a new minimum term may well have commenced. So check first.
