  • Why do you want the refund? If they have fixed any problems then now surely you have the dress you wanted?
  • Your sister, acting as your agent, accepted the repair.

This is true however it has not been stated that the repair was accepted by the sister, left in the shop may indicate this but clarification would be needed.

Lets say the repair was not authorised then the refund right is not something the shop can T&C out of and a refund is a legal entitlement at this stage.

You probably will get your money back if you push it, but I'd agree with the shop owner that this is a clear case of buyer's remorse, and if it was my shop I would drag it out as long as possible just to keep you sweating.

Alternatively, accept the (very minor) repairs, collect the dress, and concentrate on the million other things that will cause you grief before the big day.
  • A repair was declined on the day and the shop said they will put the back on the shop floor and offer a credit note and this was also declined, she left the dress to let me try and sort if afterwards..
  • Why do you want a refund?
  • there is so much wrong with the dress, it has sequins missing and glue coming off the lace on the dress this is something I wrote in my email and he didn't respond to that, it's not a simple thng the seamstress can do without making the dress worse,

given the faults on the dress, i am not happy with it, I believe a wedding dress should be as close to perfect as can be..

Email the owner an arrange to meet him at the store and take him through all the alleged faults with the dress.
  • Have you seen the dress since they have tried to fix these issues?
