I received a quote from another solicitor which was much cheaper and their reviews seemed way better... I don't know any so it's all a bit of just reading reviews and guess work
I think that answers your question then. You can get much better solicitors for probably the same if not less. Ask friends/family if they can recommend a solicitor to you. Online reviews are a good way to gauge whether a solicitor is good, okay, or down right useless.0 -
I'm currently using them for remortgage. Not completed yet but going well so far. Easy to get hold of on the phone. I've received e-mails from them but never send them one so can't tell how quickly they reply.
I quite like their case updates online. Easier to track what is happening.0 -
I have been using them for 2 days and so far no problem but it's early days! 10 more weeks at the very least before the deal is overEU expat working in London0

I used them for house sale/purchase about 18 months ago. I had no problem and all questions I raised via email were answered promptly. Didn't need to contact them by phone often, but don't remember any issues with getting hold of the person I needed.
I think the thing is - it's all a bit hit and miss. People will say go for a local solicitor - but I've had some poor experiences in the past via that route!0 -
