error of contents in purchased flat

Hi all,

As the above states I have just purchased a flat.

It states that there is a burglar alarm included among other contents but there is not one.

Do I have any recourse in trying to recoup this missing item?

Thanks in advance.

Was there one there before that was removed or did someone tick the wrong box?

I think they ticked the wrong box as there is no sign of one.

Then that's it's, simple mistake that's not caused you any loss. Ignore it.

'It' is the terms of sale and contents document.Just states is there a burglar alarm fitted and it is ticked.

I do feel there is a loss to me as the documents state there is a burglar alarm fitted and signed by the seller.

I totally understand you're point but I did not notice an alarm.I then received the documents and thought great there is an alarm fitted.

The point is is pursuing this going to

    a) mean you achieve a favourable outcome (maybe, maybe not)

    b) Said favourable outcome doesn't cost you more to achieve than what you receive.. ( Unlikely i'd say)

And then you increased your offer?

    If not, what's your loss?

Did you increase your offer based on there being an alarm?
