  • Wow there are some cynical typically british people out there with their heads firmly up their backsides. Way to make a simple question into an ordeal with 'clever' comments and sarcastic remarks. Get a life. X

Actually I am creating a digital product that will significantly speed up the decision making process for budding property investors.

So I'm putting together a business plan for this product.

    .... (snipped>

So within the business plan, it would be great to understand what kind of timeframes it generally takes.

Goodness, that's even worse than a school project. You haven't understood at all that it doesn't "generally" take any particular time, that an average is utterly meaningless and no no use whatsoever to anyone or that not only cant you control the legal process but you also cant control other peoples behaviour or indeed any aspect of the process other than perhaps having your finance in place upfront.

Regards your latest rant, if you cant take this level of questioning on a forum, wait until you are trying to raise capital in front of an investor. :rotfl:
  • 99.9% of the population have more than the average number of legs - I always like to remember that when people quote statistics at me.
  • Viewing-completion= 8 weeks and 2 days for us!

When we look back it was quite quick but it felt like ages at the time as there were a few hiccups along the way.

Embarrassing on so many different levels

Not that surprising that there are some typically British people on here as, well, you've posted on a British forum........ :o

  • It's a small question that may or may not have had an answer towards it. I have posted the question on other forums and got some fantastic responses in regards to it.

If you can't see the bigger picture, then that is your problem. You still don't get it. The term flogging a dead horse comes to mind.

It's not the questions that are frustrating, it's the snarky comments that have absolutely nothing to do with answering the questions. I didn't realise I would have to justify myself to the likes of you and the little negative people who are brave behind their computers (and who have probably never created anything).

You have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

So maybe try and remove the blinkers instead of criticising people who are trying to create things.
  • Go on the apprentice with that idea.

You expect to find untypical Briish people on a British forum?

And if you mis-use a forum by contravening its rules you're hardly in a position to complain.......

Very true. Just... not quite in the direction you seem to think.
You have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Very true. The problem is, I don't think you do, either.

So surely all you need to know is the time it takes people to find a property they're prepared to buy once they start looking. How long it takes the chain to form, mortgages to be applied for, the other legal processes and how long different people want between exchange and completion is irrelevant.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
