Did changing to BT sport Lite renew my contract

One agent actually insisted that there were no options that didn't start a new contract other the canceling complety and they wouldn't tale my complaint because I opted out online instead of doing it on the phone.

If you placed the order online then i'm afraid you may be stuck.
It would have clearly told you online what you were agreeing to when you placed the order.
BT will have records of this and that is why they are telling you they won't take it further.
You can still take this further( BT complaints proceedure/ombudsmen/deadlock)
but i can't see the point as you placed the order online.
You have to tick the box at the end of any online order to confirm you agree with all the terms.
The order won't go through if you don't agree and tick the box.0
