My current deal with PlusNet runs out on the 10th of March and I've been looking around at deals for Fibre Optic. I've seen one with BT where they offer up to 38mb, plus landline, BT Sport and £100 Master Card for £10/m plus line rental and activation and delivery fee. This deal runs out on the 25th of February. Would I be allowed to order this package 2 weeks before my existing one runs out and have BT ready to take over on the 10th?

Try ordering it at 10pm on the last day and forget the MAC for a few days to string it out?
That deal may end but a new one will usually appear.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
just signed up with BT today after finding my TT bill had gone up , all offers were finished , there team offered mty a lousy retention ,termination as of 16/03 , so I tried as a new customer (from my landline to get the free (for 12 mth) 38 meg , but they insisted on a £50 engineer visit (umm I am with them at the moment on 78meg !!!) would not waive it so contacted BT , due to start 16/03 £10 a mth 12mth contract , however the sports pack is not free on the 38m pack
they seemed to pick up on my termination date , and offer install the same day , so I would think you will have to give PlusNet noticeSave a Rachael

That's not a problem. I'll do a bit more research tomorrow evening. You're right it's not free with that package but if you take AMC then it's only a £10 activation fee and there's no extra monthly cost going forward.0

I rung plusnet , skys site was down and frustration with TT call centre , so I thought if I sign up and if its rubbish I can always set the tiger on the fat bimp (tv advert) 12 mth contact
I had online chat running whilst signing up , and the £100 card has been sanctioned correctly ,

There is no longer a MAC. Mac codes/ Migration codes/MACS etc are no longer needed to change providers.0 -
it seems that BT pick up on your termination from previous supplier date , I was not asked when I wanted mine to start , I also elected to keep my old phone number and there system accepted it was free from 16/03
I am going to enjoy telling the talk talk scammers my TALK TALK router is not faulty or my TALK TALK account has not been hacked when they ring upSave a Rachael

well 24 hrs in and there are problems , 5 txt messages and 2 emails , they have decided that my service will start in 9 days , not 31 !!!
on the phone to them "please enter number" , number not a BT number , etc etc
why should I have to pay for 26 days of 2 supliers ? , talk talk say "ok take it when you want" , they are not bothered!!!
order now cancelled , they are going to start a new order , ring me Friday between 8am and 8pm NO THEY ARE NOT! they are ringing me after 6 on Friday ,
stay tuned,,,,,,,,,,,Save a Rachael

Is this BT who are going to start a new order for you?
After doing a bit more research, I think I'll probably go for the offer MSE have posted with BT however instead of getting the £40 Boots voucher, Quidco are offering £150 cashback for taking out Broadband, Calls and TV. For those who might know, going through Quidco I would still get the £100 Mastercard right? Also, does Calls mean I have to take out a calls package or is just getting the landline sufficient?0 -
yes it is bt , if your termination is close , sign up as there is 9 days to go on that £100 offer , I did ask if I would miss it if ACTIVATION was after the 9 days , he said no I would still get itSave a Rachael
