Any genuine solicitors letter must be signed and the name of the solicitor stated, what you have is bog roll from the red cow coffee shop and their trained barista.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

Thanks folks. I know it's really tedious to see the same old thing over and over. Believe me, I've worked in IT support so I know exactly how tedious. But sometimes it's hard to glean specific information from searches and forum trawling - its difficult knowing how to frame a search with something you don't know anything about. I do really appreciate your advice, opinions and pointers.0

IMHO always search one or two words on a forum and not the wording 'parking' nor 'ticket' here!
You do need to get advice on how to respond to this letter though if it's a Letter before Claim. Is it? WH do proceed to court in some cases.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

stop guessing , find out
do they have authority to act for your landlord
is it clearly marked IN WRITING by ??? that you have to own a permit
does this WRITTEN notification state that a Permit MUST BE DISPLAYED
I am talking about WRITTEN , not a garbage sign
start asking to see the wording on the service charge contract ,
cause a bit of a stir (with HA) , find out your rights not be pushed .
once the "drifters" have been moved from the car park the PPC makes no money apart from ticketing residentsSave a Rachael

I almost put in a complaint with the housing association after I previously got sent a postal PCN by VCS for not displaying a valid parking permit, which I quite clearly did. This was based purely on the fact that I happened to be leaving the car park to go shopping when they were checking permits and I drove off when they were a few cars from mine - I guess they presumed I was a naughty permitless deviant doing a runner, and based their demand for cash on that! One strongly worded letter to VCS later and they sent me a grovelling apology.0

Wow that's astonishing - the Parking Prankster may be interested in both these shenanigans! They assumed you were permitless because you dared to drive the car out to go shopping. Scum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The thing that confuses me is that in their initial letter and their email response Right Hassle say their client is ZZPS Ltd. I've only ever had dealings with VCS and have no idea when ZZPS got involved. Are they one and the same company?0
